Sokcho Sprint Autumn 2026 is a workation, coworking and meetup pop-up village in downtown Sokcho, Korea, from November 1 to 8, 2026. Work at your own pace at HINOMAD LAB, then meet Korean and international digital nomads and remote workers over meals, walks and evening gatherings.

A week of workation in Sokcho

Bring the work you already do and spend a few days with people staying in the same neighborhood. This is a small pop-up village with no fixed sightseeing itinerary. Work during the day, find company for dinner or a seaside walk, and take time alone whenever you need it. Join evening and weekend activities when they fit your schedule.

• Who can join: digital nomads, remote workers, freelancers, founders and local crew who want to work and connect in Sokcho
• Participation: join on the days you choose. Evening and weekend activities are optional.

Coworking in Sokcho at HINOMAD LAB

HINOMAD LAB is a coworking space on Rodeo Street in downtown Sokcho, with 26 window and table seats and a lounge. Sprint participants have 24-hour access during the event. Markets, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance, making the LAB a shared base for work and everyday life.

Sokcho meetups and community activities

• Tuesday, November 3 · Welcome Meetup: introduce yourself through what you can help with and what you currently need help with. Local friends from Sokcho join too.
• Wednesday, November 4 · Open Meetup: share a story about your digital nomad life with the group.
• Thursday, November 5 · Sokcho Market Night: explore Sokcho Tourist & Fishery Market, pick up food you like and eat together.
• Weekend, November 7–8 · Hiking and running: head to Seoraksan or the coast with others who want to go.

Detailed times, meeting places and updates will be shared in the participant group chat. Plans may change with the weather, group size and local conditions. All activities are optional.

Accommodation and costs

Final attendee registration here has no additional fee, but accommodation and coworking are paid separately. Meals and transport are at your own expense.

• Book your own stay or join as local crew: pay KRW 15,000 per person per day for HINOMAD LAB on site. No minimum stay is required.
• Sea Cruise Hotel + HINOMAD LAB: one hotel night and a 24-hour LAB pass cost KRW 63,000 Sunday–Thursday, KRW 74,000 Friday, or KRW 122,000 Saturday. Minimum two nights; select date-specific tickets on Eventus.
• One accompanying guest: share the upgraded hotel room. Their LAB access costs an additional KRW 15,000 per day, paid on site.

Help test Korean–English live translation captions

We plan to use HINOMAD's live translation captions during group sessions. Open the QR code or link provided on site and choose Korean or English captions. No app installation is needed to read captions.

Help us check how well the captions support presentations and Q&A, and point out awkward wording or readability issues. This is a test, so recognition errors, translation errors or delays may occur. Audio is not stored; original and translated caption text is recorded and retained. Review the recording and usage information before the session begins.

Your hosts

Philip leads the Sprint with Vincent and Lia from HINOMAD and HINOMAD LAB. Philip brings nomads together outside Seoul, Vincent handles local operations in Sokcho, and Lia plans the program and online communication. This is the second Sokcho Sprint, following the first Sokcho Sprint in June.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to stay all week?

Join Sokcho Sprint on the days that work for you between November 1 and 8, 2026. The two-night minimum only applies to the Sea Cruise Hotel package.

Can I stay somewhere else or join as a Sokcho local?

Local crew and people who book their own accommodation are welcome at Sokcho Sprint. LAB access costs KRW 15,000 per person per day, paid on site.

Do I need to speak Korean or English fluently?

Fluent Korean or English is not required for Sokcho Sprint. Korean and international participants join together, and we plan to test Korean–English live translation captions during meetups.

Are all activities mandatory?

Sokcho Sprint meetups and evening or weekend activities are optional. Work, rest and join the community at your own pace.

How do I register?

Apply and select your option on Eventus first. Final attendees can then use this page's registration button to share attendance dates and caption language. Contact HINOMAD on KakaoTalk with questions.
